Club History

A bunch of amateur football hooligans, who get roughly between 2-4 hours sleep on a Saturday night, joined the Evening News Sunday League in 2010.

Sponsored by local pub The Bell Inn, Barnham Broom, select players from around the county are part of the revolution that is sure to result in the Bell Inn becoming the best Sunday League football side in Norfolk.

The team play in bright yellow and black and have a new away kit in the striped colours of red and black.

In their first season, 2010/2011, The Bell Inn gained promotion from Divison 4B and reached the Norfolk Junior County Cup Final, narrowly losing 2-1 to Fairstead.

The second season saw another promotion, this time from Division 3B.

Ian Babb then ended his two-year reign as boss and was replaced by Tom Brown and Neil Anderson in the hot seat.

Babb, 30, will continue his role at the club as Chairman and Lifetime Honoury President.

In their third season, the Bell Inn won Divison 2B (their first ever bit of silverware) and came runners up in the Norfolk Intermediate County Cup.
